Prices remain significant: even the most affordable capable humanoid robot costs several thousand pounds. This site exists to give UK buyers a clear, honest picture of that market.
The UK Angle
Pricing for humanoid robots is almost universally published in US dollars. UK buyers face additional costs that change the picture materially: import duty, VAT at the point of entry, international shipping, and in many cases a significant lead time from a manufacturer based in China or the United States.
A model listed at USD 16,000 by its manufacturer does not arrive at your door for that figure. Depending on tariff classification, import duty, VAT and freight, the real landed cost to a UK buyer can be substantially higher. Consumer-grade humanoid robots are not yet generally available in the UK. As of 2026, the market is predominantly served by developer and research editions, sold directly by manufacturers or through specialist international distributors. No major UK high street or mainstream online retailer stocks a capable bipedal humanoid robot.
This matters for buyers. You are not ordering from Amazon with next-day delivery and a standard returns policy. You are navigating international procurement, import paperwork, and in most cases a direct relationship with a manufacturer whose support infrastructure for UK customers may be limited.
